The workflow had two inputs for the same spec: spec_next.yaml (raw) and the Speakeasy registry version. Speakeasy merged them and created #1/#2 path variants, doubling every operation. Only #2 got overlay group overrides, leaving #1 under original tags as duplicate CLI commands. Removing the registry input eliminates the split. Also removed the 76 #1-targeted overlay entries that were ineffective (overlay runs before the merge creates #1/#2 suffixes). Kept lifecycle healthcheck as internal. Made-with: Cursor
