prefix property seems to be strange. Why you extract a completion prefix within your own function not with prefix property?
Get ac-nxml to byte-compile.
@m2ym I don't understand, I am using the prefix property. If you mean the other code doing parsing--it is because the completion code is a port from nxml's built-in completion code. I'd like to keep that as close to the original as possible to make it easy to adapt to nxml changes.
I can't believe that it could work without restricting the cursor point with \= in prefix property. See ac-prefix-c-dot for example.
If you have the edit screen like
prefix property could return the point of the start of foo even if the cursor is just after dots.
