@crash21

Hello,

I use this bundle to apply watermarks in my images. Everything is fine, just have a problem. After applying the filter need to delete original image otherwise someone can access it in the web.
So there are 2 ways doing it:

1) Modify code so after apply of filter delete source image or move it to a previous level out of web folder of the server.
2)Ideally on cache:warmup create all images and also move the source folder one level back...(but how do that?)

My question is what is the best and how to apply filters on cache warmup?
Also is there something easier to achieve my goal?

Thanks a lot.

The use case that this bundle was created for is to lazily generate thumbnail images for otherwise accessible source images. In your use case it seems like you just want to process image on upload and get rid of the original. I would recommend using imagine service from your image upload controller to perform image manipulation during upload and discard original.

Alternatively, a simple cron job to clean up the originals might be sufficient, however the bundle was not designed for this as filtered images are treated as cache data that can be easily re-generated should you need to, which is not possible without source images.

Thanks a lot I think use it as service on upload is the best option!
