In the last year I've built our Pulse Dashboard greenfield (data model through UI, including AI Feedback Themes and Power BI integration), designed our internal AppConfig system that webhook, widgets, and CDC workers run on, and shipped a token-secured Marketing Prospect SPA solo (Vite + shadcn + TanStack Table + MapLibre + Amplify, with a BigQuery → Lambda → S3 pipeline behind it).
On the side, I ship iOS apps in React Native + Expo:
- Offshelf — distraction-free reading tracker, live on the App Store. Local-first, no servers, no accounts.
- Almost Dawn — mental-health check-in app with a trust-network model. Currently in TestFlight beta. (landing page)
Before engineering: B.S. Exercise Science (Truman State, 2015), three years of M.Div coursework at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, software bootcamp at Prime Digital Academy in 2019. I write essays and fiction on the side. The unusual path informs how I think about product, attention, and what software does to the people who use it.
