Introduction

A fully dark theme for Eclipse

Example of Eclipse Graphene

Instructions

  1. Start Eclipse and go to Preferences, General, Appearance.

  2. Select the "Dark" theme that ships with Eclipse.

  3. Go to File, Import, Import Preferences and import the eclipse-graphene.epf

  4. Exit Eclipse.

  5. Create a directory under /usr/share/themes named Eclipse Graphene.

  6. Copy the contents of this repository to that directory.

  7. Open /usr/share/applications/eclipse.desktop in a text editor.

  8. Change the Exec line to read

    Exec=env GTK_THEME="Eclipse Graphene" eclipse
    
  9. Start Eclipse

Notes

  • Tested only on Eclipse Luna running on Fedora 22. Your mileage may vary.
