question about weekend period

hi,

how can i create a schedule to keep my instance running through mon-fri , stop at fri 8PM and start at sun 8PM. I tried thinking through but couldn't come up with one.

Doesn't giving an end time of 23:59 in period p1 kind of stops the instance on sunday , at that time ?

The scheduler has logic that detects adjacent periods and will not stop the instances at the end of a period of there is one.
