tlscollect reports on the cipher and certificate configuration of SSL/TLS servers. It is useful both for checking your own server configurations and for inspecting configurations of sites you use.
Use is simple:
tlscollect –host <hostname>
tlscollect defaults to port 443 (https), but you can specify a different port using –port <port>. If a hostname resolves to multiple IP addresses tlscollect will report on all of them. If you only want a report on a specific IP address, use the –addr <address> option.
Output from the tool is straightforward:
TLS configuration for www.google.com (18.104.22.168), port 443
