Bug Report

Current Behavior
When defining an enum (NewEnum) using values from another enum (OriginalEnum) NewEnum will end up also containing all key/value pairs from OriginalEnum.

Input Code

Expected behavior/code
The TextColors enum should not contain a copy of Color enum

Babel Configuration (.babelrc, package.json, cli command)

"@babel/plugin-transform-typescript": "7.6.0"

  • Babel version(s): v7.0.0
  • How you are using Babel: REPL

Possible Solution
Use same behaviour as Typescript compiler?

Hey @piet-v! We really appreciate you taking the time to report an issue. The collaborators on this project attempt to help as many people as possible, but we're a limited number of volunteers, so it's possible this won't be addressed swiftly.

If you need any help, or just have general Babel or JavaScript questions, we have a vibrant Slack community that typically always has someone willing to help. You can sign-up here for an invite."

Going through the issues I noticed #7160
Not sure if this fixes the issue or not.
