Following code does not remove an item, even though it should have.
Code works as expected in chrome console, but not when compiled with babel (for example, here).
If "removeItem(obj, 2)" is replaced with "removeItem(obj, '2')", it works in babel as well.

Code:
const addItem = (obj, key, val) => ({...obj, [key]:val});

const removeItem = (obj, key) => {
let {[key]:removedItem, ...restCol} = obj;
return restCol;
};

let obj = {};
obj = addItem(obj, 1, 'one')
obj = addItem(obj, 2, 'two')
obj = addItem(obj, 3, 'three')

removeItem(obj, 2)

Hey @bjg2! We really appreciate you taking the time to report an issue. The collaborators
on this project attempt to help as many people as possible, but we're a limited number of volunteers,
so it's possible this won't be addressed swiftly.

If you need any help, or just have general Babel or JavaScript questions, we have a vibrant Slack
community that typically always has someone willing to help. You can sign-up here
