Can I work with Babelomics if I am an anonymous user?
Yes, you can. Babelomics engine allows to run and keep jobs from non-logged users.
Can I view and recover my jobs if I am an anonymous user?
All anonymous jobs are deleted every day. Also, depending on your browser cookies management, you will lose the reference to your anonymous jobs if the session expires or your browser is closed. If you want to store permanently your experiments, you are kindly invited to create your own user account.
Why can't I log into Babelomics?
Verify that you have configured your browser to allow cookies, Babelomics stores in the navigator some specific data about the active user (even if anonymous), that is required by the server-side. Also, depending on navigator and its version, may be mandatory to include http://www.babelomics.org and http://babelomics.bioinfo.cipf.es in the list of “trusted sites”.
#####Why can't I download my table in txt format?
Verify that you have configured your browser to allow pop up windows. You don't need to allow it to all internet sites, you can block pop-up windows and include http://www.babelomics.org and http://babelomics.bioinfo.cipf.es in the list of “exceptions”.
#####Can I save my results in a zip/tar.gz file?
Not really, but you can save table information in txt format. Babelomics offers a visualization scheme which is oriented to a pagination/navigation of the results that extremely reduces the used memory of your internet browser and the amount of retrieved data from the server-side. This framework matches with a typical client-server architecture that do not allows an static client-alone version of the results in a html format. This feature will be addressed in future versions of Babelomics.
