[Feature Request] API or Home Assistant integration

Some sort of API. I'm into home automation with Home Assistant. On my old printer I had it connected to a smart plug so that it would switch off once a job was complete with a virtual switch on my dashboard if I was printing back to back so that I could disable the automation.

There is already MQTT running on the local network, I'm not sure how the authentication works although. Note I could also find some discussion on reddit with the notice that "[..] smart integration isn't on the top list but it has been noted".

Or maybe create a repository here on github for firmware issues too ;)
Github is way better suited for tracking and assigning issues than a forum. Even without the source code being available.
There are plenty of issues on here that are either printer or AMS firmware
