NodeJS Barcelona User Group Twitter Follow

A free, open and transparent community in Barcelona, focused on NodeJS and related technologies. We meet regularly to share our knowledge and learn from each other, either in talks or discussions, or simply having a coffee or drinks. You can join our events or search previous events and talks.

Call for Speakers

Talk Format

  • Each event has 2-3 speaker slots available.
  • Each talk is allocated 30 minutes, including Q&A

Submit a talk

  1. Create a new issue
  2. Modify the issue to match your talk
  • the title of your talk as Subject of the issue
  • the langauge (en or es)
  • your Twitter handle, starting with @
  • talk description
  1. Submit

If you have any questions regarding an event or your talk, please add a comment to your issue and we'll be in touch.

What now?

After you submit the issue, we'll assign it to an upcoming event. If there are any questions regarding your talk, we'll open a comment. Feel free to comment / discuss open issues/talks.


  • Once your issue is assigned to an event (we use milestones for that), it has been approved and confirmed.
  • Check the milestone date for confirmation of the event date.

After the event

Please add a comment to your talk issue with the following information per line:

We'll add the information then into the archives. Thanks!

In Short: All attendees, speakers, sponsors and volunteers at Node.js Barcelona are required to agree with the following code of conduct. Organizers will enforce this code throughout the event.

BarcelonaJS is dedicated to providing a harassment-free event experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any event venue, including talks and workshops. Event participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the events.
