I used your theme and found that when I click on a function name, in the symbols window, the line containing the function in the code is highlighted in a dreadful bright white background. The foreground text is not visible except the word function. I tried another dark theme (Geany-dark-scheme) and it had a similar issue. I've read through the Geany docs and have successfully modded the Ctrl+M colors, but this doesn't help. I did notice it was using the same color scheme which is used for marking (Ctrl+M). I'm using Geany 0.21 on Windows 7.
I tired all of these in filetypes.common
marker_line was needed, NOT the two marker_mark's
Have you tried a few of the forks that people have made of this theme? They may well have fixed this issue. Another option might be to try Geany 1.22, and seeing if this theme (available at https://github.com/codebrainz/geany-themes) works correctly in that version.
I'm really not sure what could be causing this problem, though -- it may be something to do with GTK running on Windows.
Thanks for the reply. I only saw Geany .21 available for download. I'm on Windows, and I understand Geany is a nix app. But, I was able to change the colors and everything is working fine. Geany is a big improvement over Notepad++ in productivity--function and variable navigation.
