W.U.T is a project for community, made to help developers and users to perform multiple tasks in one place
W.U.T project based in the first place on strict privacy policy
There is nothing WUT can get access to without user permission
Even the included services picked because it allows anonymous login such as:
- MEGA.nz
- Unsplash
Your repos will be stored locally only and encrypted with secret key that make them protected
W.U.T doesn't gather any information or personal details about your repos and the usage
W.U.T script also has the same behavior,
it cannot access to any personal information without user permission
Features like GitHub also can perform download without sending any personal information
Device information page will not record or collect any data about your device
Telnet access disabled by default and cannot be used until the user installed telnet server by his own otherwise ALL features marked with "TELNET" are not active and will not work.
WUT browser based on WebView1, it doesn't by default collect any data about your usage
even the protection layer made to work built-in (offline) from internal lists
and it doesn't send any request remotely to detect the block websites or to remove ads
that doesn't mean websites cannot collect your data or your cookies, WUT cannot protect this part 100%.
Access to your internet: Used for files download, web browser and any other that features required internet
Manage other apps directly: Used for packages manager feature only
Gather information about other apps: We don't collect any information about your apps this also used by packages manager or task manager feature
appDiagnostics: Used for task manager feature (you can disable it from your system settings)
extendedBackgroundTaskTime: Used for background downloading feature (If you disable it from the settings it will not be used)
Begin an unconstrained execution session: Same as extendedBackgroundTaskTime
lowLevel: Used only for GPIO scripts (Commander) read/write (and not used in any other services)
privateNetworkClientServer: Used only for built-in browser so you can connect to local networks
enterpriseAuthentication: Used only for getting network location added by the user
sharedUserCertificates: Used for certificate installation only
picturesLibrary: Used for unsplash downloads only
userAccountInformation (XBOX): Used for packages installation/launch only
Microphone (If any): Used for SpeechRecognizer (Commander) only
