On Solaris 10, riak-debug gets through the run, but has trouble with some of the commands. In particular, riak-debug uses GNU extensions of sed and awk that aren't supported. Here is the example of it failing:

E.Eawk: syntax error near line 1
awk: illegal statement near line 1
sed: Extra text at end of command: s/^"//" -e "s/".*$//
./bin/riak-debug[488]: test: argument expected
.sed: Extra text at end of command: s/^"//" -e "s/".*$//
sed: Extra text at end of command: s/^"//" -e "s/".*$//
