segmentation fault on login

I'm on ubuntu 12.04 LTS.

When I select bspwm in lightdm and try to login, I get a quick black screen and then return to the login prompt.

My ~/.xsession-errors file:

I have the same error. I'm on Ubuntu 12.04, my system is up-to-date, and I recently recompiled and reinstalled bspwm.

I had the same issue. Replacing libxcb-ewmh1 with libxcb-ewmh from trusty seems to fix the problem.

I can confirm this on an ubuntu 12.04.4 LTS, 64 bit.
Manually installing libxcb-wemh from 14.04 fixed the issue!
