Is this done? Are there more places that cache profiling needs to be added/tweaked?
Two years without a peep sounds like an abandoned issue.

It's not done ... the referenced commit are in the OP's own fork and (iirc) have never been submitted as a pull request.

I'm also not in favor of such a feature as caches are supposed to be really fast and should be the last place to look for bottlenecks, so I don't think there's any benefit in this.
