Hello!

since EllisLab/CodeIgniter#2253 is now closed, could a leader of this project submit CodeIgnitor to Packagist?
https://packagist.org/packages/submit

I would submit it myself, but it's probably not wise to tie it to my github account. :)

thanks!
david

Any chance on this happening anytime soon? @narfbg?

It literally only take a few minutes. :)

thanks!

I understand your enthusiasm about this @davidbarratt, but even if I did own the repository (and I don't), the following quote from the linked page would be a problem:

The authoritative name of your package will be taken from the composer.json file inside the master branch or trunk of your repository, and it can not be changed after that.

At least until what now is the 'develop' branch becomes master, or in other words - when the CodeIgniter 3.0 release happens.

P.S.: No, I can't give a deadline. :)
