@RobertCNelson, let's try this :)

I don't want to edit the dra7.dtsi at this moment and it seems all the peripheral nodes are in there and most of them are disabled. I will create new nodes for them in am5729-beagleboneai.dts with status = okay after we figure this out.

Please use then symlink names from https://elinux.org/Beagleboard:BeagleBone_cape_interface_spec and/or update that page.

@jadonk, I will update the page by tonight and submit a pull request for BBB symlinks in the format bone-peripheral#. I hope you agree with the format :)

I will not be able to complete the BBAI symlinks today, It needs some prior work before the assignment of symlinks.

Updated fields on BeagleBone cape interface spec will look like this:
