Beam.js is a modular JavaScript VM engine built on top of erlv8, it provides several things not available in erlv8, such as REPL, require(), exports and others.

Please be advised that Beam.js is still an alpha therefore bugs, inconsistencies, deficiencies & VM crashes are quite possible.

Using Beam.js

Library documentation is available at a self-hosted web site (running Beam.js Documentation Browser). Please understand that since Beam.js is very alpha, the site might be down or misbehave in any other way.
