I tried to import several zip and i got no space left on device, after a df, I saw it was /tmp (which is a tmpfs here).

I was thinking at first it was because it couldn't finish the import but when i imported one zip at a time, the tmp files are not deleted either, and I guess its not a wanted behavior (at least not the purpose of a temp file).

That's odd; thanks for the report. We do at least intend to remove these files (see ArchiveImportTask.cleanup() in beets.importer), but something must be going awry. @geigerzaehler, do you have any guesses?
