The BEFdata R-package
The R package we introduce here gives you basicc access to the data and metadata stored on a BEFdata data management portal. This allows you to easily pull data for analysis in a single and batched fashion for a fast and efficient data analysis.
The package is available in a stable version from CRAN. To instlal it from there simply issue the command shown below. Cran will always stay up to date with the latest stable version of RBEFdata.
With the fine R package called
devtools you are also able to install the
latest version from this GitHub repository. For that you have to issue the
command shown below.
# install devtools package install.packages("devtools") # install rbefdata from github library(devtools) install_github("befdata/rbefdata", subdir = "rbefdata")
You should be aware that this installation gets you a bleeding edge version of RBEFdata. It can happen that it fails to install or that certain functions are not working as expected. If you prefer a stable package you should use the versions provided via CRAN.
