Zip file is 0 bytes #145
Describe the bug
The zip file generated by the export is 0 bytes large. i.e. it is completely empty.
Steps to reproduce the behavior
The resulting zip file should contain all of the WordPress posts.
Here's a screenshot of the download link after clicking the link to generate the zip file.
I'm using WordPress 5.1.1, and WordPress to Jekyll Exporter version 2.3.0. I've tried both installing the extension automatically from the Plugins menu, as well as manually downloading the extension files and uploading them to my WordPress site, and both produce the same result.
Other users also reported this same problem on the extension's support forums here.
I uninstalled a few plugins and deactivated the rest, but the problem continues. I noticed that I only had 35mb free disk space, so I cleaned that up a bit and got it to 150mb free, but still have the same issue, and watching the disk while it attempts to create the export zip file, it never goes below 100mb free, so I don't think that's the issue. Where would I find the error log file @benbalter ? Thanks.
@deadlydog Glad to hear. It would to be helpful to understand why 2.3.x didn't work. Where to find your error log is host dependent. Searching for "HOST NAME php error log" should hopefully point you to the relevant help article. It may also be available in Cpanel if you have one, or wherever
Hmmmm, I had recently moved my WordPress blog hosting from GoDaddy to Azure. It looks like in Azure the log file is found at
