Freshbooks Expenses

expenses.php*

Lists Freshbooks expenses in XML format. Original use case: For importing into Google Docs spreadsheets with importXML.

Create a keys.php with your Freshbooks API credentials to use.

Currently available parameters: date_from, date_to.

Also: debug=1 turns on debugging mode. headers=1 adds header elements.

Uses the php lib from http://code.google.com/p/freshbooks-php-library.

How to import into Google Docs

  1. Put the code on a server somewhere

  2. In a Google Docs spreadsheet, put in this function: =importXML("http://server/expenses.php?headers=1", "//expenses/*")

Misc

Known Issues

  • Inconsistency between headers and columns. Might be easiest for now to omit headers in the XML.
Something went wrong with that request. Please try again.
