algos

This is a collection of algorithms I wrote in ruby as a study guide. Some of them already exist in the ruby core lib but that's not why I wrote it. To keep sharp on computer science fundamentals and languages I often write these.

Install

gem install algos

Documentation

Some day my desire to create documentation will outshine my laziness. But I did want to at least leave some notes in the meantime here.

Fair warning! This gem has a pile of monkey-patches. The decision about what ended up being ok to be a monkey-patch and what needed composition was not scientific and was based on my common-sense alone. If you feel strongly about this in some way and you'd like to change it send me a pull request.

Hacking on it

Install the dev dependencies:

bundle install

Tests

rake test
