the ceph storage misses functionality that lists all names of objects that we stored into the storage. currently, there is a dummy __iter__ with some commented code.

but: the commented code does not work as the ctypes lowlevel stuff misses a binding for the storage's "list" method.

the iteration is needed by the new cli command "purge", so it can iterate over all objects and delete by some criteria.

as the (dummy implementation of) iteration currently just returns an empty list, this is also a bug (purge does not work with ceph storage).

I added a note to config.py (and thus to documentation) about this.

ceph storage has been removed from master branch and lives in ceph-storage branch.

issue tracker shall track master branch issues, thus closing this.
