Hello there 👋
If you'd like to contribute to Frankly and want to know where to start, you're in the right place!
Getting Started
- Refer to our Documentation for instructions on how to get Frankly up and running locally.
- Refer to CONTRIBUTING.md for guidance on how best to contribute.
What to Work On
- Look over the Frankly Public Workstream to see what the Frankly team is working on and what our priorities are.
- If you want to help us bug stomp, look for items with the
bug label.
- If you want to help us build out Frankly, look for items in Backlog with the
help welcome label. We also have a good first issue label for first-time contributors.
- Items with the
effort label tend to be larger tasks & stories. These align with our Milestones and make up our Roadmap. If you want to help with one of these, please tag @berkmancenter/frankly in a comment or email us at hello@frankly.org.
Submitting Bugs or Feature Requests
For security related issues, vulnerabilities, or bugs including sensitive information:
For everything else:
- Search Issues to make sure the bug or request has not already been added.
- Once you've confirmed it's not a duplicate, open a new issue, select the appropriate issue type, and follow the prompts.
Thank you so much for wanting to help!
