Fontina

Fontina is intended to be an ActivityPub-compliant, federated, photo-sharing-based social network.

That probably sounds like a lot of complicated buzzword crap, but to keep things simple it would be what happened if you melded together Mastodon and Instagram, more or less.

To start your Phoenix server:

  • Install dependencies with mix deps.get
  • Create and migrate your database with mix ecto.create && mix ecto.migrate
  • Install Node.js dependencies with cd assets && npm install
  • Start Phoenix endpoint with mix phx.server

Now you can visit localhost:4000 from your browser.
