Thanks for fixing this @TonyBlit.

Flashed RC3 BF would not recognize gps, reflashed RC2 gps recognized. M8N & Mini8. |
|
In my case, after RC3 GPS would not work. After I enabled auto config, it
started working flawlessly immediately. Prior to that I had issues getting
any sats which was typically resolved by a reboot.

Tried changing config and all typical gps related checks with no luck. Gps not recognized. |
|
@240Gordy if you are setting it up as UBLOX, have not configured it with u-center and is not working, can you try setting NMEA and auto-baud ON? Let me know if that makes a difference |
|
@tony Cabello no, using beitian bn-220 as it arrived, manually set to 57600
in ports tab, auto config on. It started working on each battery after this
fix in RC3.

@marekwiecek <https://github.com/marekwiecek> Have you configured the gps
with u-center? Otherwise disabling auto-config won't work after power loss

@TonyBlit the gps units I tried were working in other quads. I did not configure them in Ucenter. I tried changing configuration of gps with no luck. Reflashing to RC2 was a last ditch effort to check gps, and it worked. |
|
@240Gordy afaik, BF code for NMEA has not been changed for years, the only trick to make it work is to configure the port at 9600baud or use auto-baud, so it's very strange that you can't make it work on any particular version of BF. |
|
@TonyBlit no, the gps works fine in every version but RC3. |
