I am receiving the following error after running diagnostic

The following locales are missing:
en_US.utf8

How does one go about fixing this issue? I created a new laravel app for testing purposes so it is a clean system so to speak

It depends on your system what need to be changed and how the locales are called. Example if you check #55 you see that Mac OS has en_US.UTF-8 and not en_US.utf8

So you need to check what is installed and if the config is what you need to have.

My solution was to publish the config, and then change line 15:
from 'en_US.utf8', to PHP_OS == 'Darwin' ? 'en_US.UTF-8' : 'en_US.utf8',

@jpscharf it works for me, thanks
By the way, if you don't know which OS version do you have you can execute for:

$ php -r 'echo PHP_OS;'
Darwin%
