Windows respond very poorly when maximized

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open client
2. Maximize any module window
3. Try using any of the functionality. Performance is terrible

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When the window is simply resized to maximum width and height instead of
being maximized, it works properly. This is likely a bug in the component
library
