BTX Decoder ist ein Client für den Bildschirmtext Onlinedienst. Er basiert auf der Decoder-Logik der BSD-lizensierten Software "XCept 2.1" von 1995 und wurde an moderne C-Compiler angepaßt.
Der Kern des Decoders ist portables C mit minimalen Betriebssystem-Abhängigkeiten. Im Moment existieren Frontends für macOS, iOS und SDL (Linux).
