replaced run-shell-command

This doesn't actually work with the latest cl-autorepo in Quicklisp, since cl-autorepo has been broken for over a year, but it will as soon as Quicklisp is updated to include my latest changes.

The code for this patch is correct, and works for me with the cl-autorepo fix, so I'm merging it.
