In the "about" page there is this sentence:
«A lot of processing power securing transactions - estimated at over 25 terahashes/s.»
that could have a misleading translation in Italian.

Can you better define the use of the verb "securing"? Because it can be translated with the meaning of:

• to protect / to make secure
• to obtain
• to pledge

We definitively want to say "protect / make secure" here, as the processing power makes it difficult to reverse any previous transaction.

I don't know if I can use this issue to talking about the meaning of some sentences. In case, sorry to bother here and please suggests me a proper place to discuss.

In the page "bitcoin for enthusiasts" there is this string:

-title- Bitcoin is a worldwide consensus -title-

Translated in Italian it has no much sense, I tryed to contextualize taking a look at the following paragraph:

«By its decentralized open-source nature, Bitcoin is the first payment network that is powered by its users with no central authority. Even Bitcoin developers have no power to force updates in the protocol if enough users, developers, or miners disagree. You have exclusive control over your Bitcoin wallet.»

but it still has no sense.

In the paragraph it is talking about the decentralized and "democratic" control system of Bitcoin, so the title could be something like «Bitcoin is a worldwide democratic system» (but it doesn't sound good to me...). What do you think? Can you suggest me an alternative title?

No it's fine to ask for such things in the github issue.

Isn't there an equivalence for "consensus" in Italian? We used the word "democracy" there once before. But the thing is that it isn't accurate. Bitcoin is not a democracy : if anyone doesn't accept the rules and create different ones, it ends up creating a fork. It is for sure more democratic, but it is not a representative democracy.

If it really makes no sense to use "consensus" there, it could perhaps be replaced by something like "Bitcoin is powered by its users" or something similar?

Well, the problem here is not the translation of "consensus" but the logical construction of the entire sentence, that in italian is not right.
A better form, with a more similar meaning, could be: "Bitcoin works with the consensus of its users"; but in a shorter form it is what you suggest: "Bitcoin is powered by its users".

In the texts there are some technical terms that are commonly used in Italy in their english form. But without a translation maybe they cannot be understood by non-technical people, so may I link them to their relative Wikipedia italian pages?

I think that it is good as long as you apply links to wikipedia where you think it's really useful. Not enough links is probably as bad as too much links. Linking to wikipedia and bitcoin wiki are not controversial links also. It would be different if we were speaking about adding a link to a businesses (do promotion). That category of links would require more discussion.

Many time it is used the concept of "double-spend", but it seems to me that there isn't an italian equivalent for it.
Now, I can translate it into "to spend double" but, if I correctly understand from the context, "double-spend" is used as a noun and not as a verb. In this case, I can translate it into "double expense", with the meaning of the act to buy twice. Would it be correct?

I'd suggest translating it as something that conveys "using the same money twice" - whether that's formulated as a verb or as a noun.

About the term "Blockchain", the litteral italian translation means "a chain that locks something". But reading the Bitcoin wiki page the proper translation it seems to me to be "a chain made by blocks". Am I right? Thank you.

Is it a sentence you try to translate, or just the word "Blockchain"? If it's just the word, you can maybe keep the word "blockchain" as it is. To my knowledge, not all technical terms can have meaningful translations.
