I noticed a few comments of people that seemed to be unsure about the title "Enthusiasts" and it is hard to translate in french. And a few people didn't seem to associate "Organization" with "merchants". So I am suggesting to rename "Organizations" to "Businesses" and "Enthusiasts" to "Innovation".

This would also allows us to have more nice content focused on future applications and benefts of Bitcoin in that page in the future.

I second the switch from Organizations to Businesses, but not the latter. Innovation isn't used to describe specific people like the former 3 are.

I am actually working on a similar fork right now. +1 to the switch to Businesses, which makes sense.

I would advocate removing Enthusiast/Innovation altogether. The content on that page is scattered and a little unfocused. We could pull in some of it into other pages, like How It Works, or the individual/business pages. Or even the home page. I just can't ever see a visitor having a need satisfied by that page, or understanding why they'd want to go there.

In general, I think the nav and information architecture of the site needs a bit of thought. I'm an advocate for reducing the number of decisions a visitor needs to make to procure information, and thus consolidating/renaming/repositioning a few of these. I'll work in parallel on that and keep it a separate track, but just a heads up.

I must say that I disagree about Enthusiasts. This page aims to answer "What Bitcoin is changing in this world as a groundbreaking technology?". And I think that it's content is all relevant relative to this subject. And hardly see this content disappear from the website as a lot of people will be searching for it.

I am generally against mixing "ideology" and "business". Normal users or businesses don't necessarily do philanthropy and are not interested to know these kind of things. The content of "Individuals" and "Organization" are focused on their respective needs and interests and I think it should stay that way. I also hardly see this content making sense in the How it works page as it doesn't help understanding how it works.

Fair points, but that content doesn't seem to make sense at the same level
as it's current siblings.

What about adding a subnav element with a title of 'How It's Different' or
something?

That could make sense. I kind of liked the idea to have it in the top menu. But I agree that it might not be really consistent with "Individuals", Businesses", etc. And since we will soon have a "for press" section at the top, this menu won't look too much empty if we remove Enthusiasts from there.

However I would perhaps try to find a single word to replace "How it's different" to keep the best readability in the menu. I thought that "Innovation" was a nice one but it can be something else.

BTW, tcatm was working on a different index page also that would include the content of Resources and Community so that we can remove these two from the menu and have a lot of useful links in the home page. Perhaps we can also replace "About" by the FAQ once we will have it. And I always considered removing "Vocabulary" from the menu at some point if we have more better content in the future, because this page will be contextually linked everywhere.

Hmm, I like the idea of cleanup but Resources and Community do not seem
like first-class content to be promoted to the index page. That was a main
issue I had with the old site. We should discuss off-thread. But I am
working on an index page at the same time. Will be interesting to see each.

I fixed what we all agree on (Organizations -> Businesses). Let's treat "Enthusiast" case seperately later.
