Mike has appeared in the press several times and they just love his coins. I will contact him and ask if he's willing to be up there.

I think Mike would make a great addition because he is competent, articulate and an established and respected member of the Bitcoin community.

Mike got back to me and is happy to be there. So we just need a photo+pull req. I can work on this maybe tomorrow or next week if nobody beats me to it.

Great work and you can get that taken care of. I think Mike will do a great job.

Oh, since jgarzik, gmaxwell and LukeJR think it a valid issue; have to you checked whether Mike's political ideology going to meet the standard for inclusion so they are satisfied?

No need to do a bunch of work to later have it struck like last time.

@mikehearn : Yes please.

I think we should propose people we think are worth and let the discussions happen on github. Making a pull request for one interviewee is not that long and it allows to keep things moving and allows the question of "how to choose interviewees" to get more maturity.

Mike sent me a long email with lots of background info, he's quite happy to be up there.

The issues raised by Luke etc aren't really about politics but more whether someone will present Bitcoin neutrally and without making anyone else involved with the project feel uncomfortable (e.g. due to advocacy of behaviour that is illegal or close to the line). Mike has been involved with Bitcoin for a long time and I don't recall him ever being involved in any controversy. In fact the opposite is true, thanks to his coins he has a track record of making the whole community look good.

I've asked him for a photo. Once I get that I'll submit a patch.
