I agree that adding the country would be useful. We were also thinking maybe adding more space for a longer description for each interviewees. I planned that we could actually list different interviewees for each language in the website. French speaking interviewees in the french version of the website, english speaking interviewees in the english version of the website, etc. |

Also, I'm going to give an interview this week to Folha de São Paulo, can I be listed for the Portuguese/Brazillian language? I'm trying to promote bitcoin here in Brazil, that would help me a lot. And I'm translating (slowly) the site to Portuguese, will try to finish it this weekend |

Feel free to make a pull request if you want to suggest yourself in the potential interviewees list. Of course, the final decision will not depend only on me. But personally, as long as you are aware of the implications on your personal life and that you are giving accurate and relevant answers and do a good job at explaining Bitcoin, I want you on the list. Especially if you can cover languages that are not already covered. If we have too much people in the english page, we can certainly find a way to squeeze the list so that we don't need to restrict the number of potential interviewees. |

@saivann I have collected the country/language info for current contacts and am ready to add it. Any thoughts on layout? There's not much room for it in the current look. |

Thanks for your suggestions (and sorry for the long delay). Bitcoin.org doesn't serve an interviewees list anymore so I am now closing this issue. |

Hope this is the right place--bit of a github noob, I'm afraid.
Right now the press page on bitcoin.org is very US-heavy and it would be nice to have a good geographical distribution of people since media often want to pull you in to a studio for interviews rather than just chat by phone or email.
I'm happy to be on there as a Canadian contact--before I stepped back from doing press for a while we were mainly getting low-quality features so the only worthwhile example I have handy is this radio interview starting at around 3:15. It was a remote and they were having technical issues so it got cut up quite a bit, but Brent is a great guy and had really done his homework, so it turned out decently. It sounds like he was feeding me questions, but that's just because he had to redo most of his audio afterwards :) . Wow, really takes me back listening to Plato talk about his road trip! Hard to believe this was less than two years ago.
Anyways, back on topic. Perhaps we could get more international suggestions in the comments to this issue?
