@ABISprotocol Thanks, can you submit the event as a pull request? https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin.org#how-to-participate
https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin.org#events

Or otherwise provide properly formatted information as shown in the link above?

White spaces: There should be an events map displayed here. I guess you have javascript disabled? BTW feel free to open separate issues when you want to report different issues / requests like now, as it's then easier to watch and work on them.

Regarding #1, they haven't provided a venue for the event, yet, something we always include along with the address - I will email them to ask if they have one and add it if so.

Ah cool, thanks @gwb3 for following this so closely.

@gwb3 @saivann Thanks, maybe it is better for me not to submit as pull until they are certain of venue?
Edit: You are right, I have javascript disabled, NoScript on and so forth. - my derp - I have edited stuff above accordingly... sigh

@ABISprotocol ABISprotocol changed the title from Event submittal (San Jose, CA - June 2014) + delete white space on events page to Event submittal (San Jose, CA - June 2014) Apr 16, 2014

@ABISprotocol Indeed, we can't add it without an address anyway (the website needs a venue and address for each event when re-building the map). I guess if @gwb3 gets an answer, he will either let you know or make a pull request himself. In either case, we can keep this issue open until it's done. Thanks!

No prob @saivann. Thanks @ABISprotocol for the thought to mention these two items. I emailed one of the team members who is helping organize the conference and hopefully should hear back soon.

@saivann @ABISprotocol - I spoke w/ Dionne MariaVaz who is the sponsorship coordinator and they have not determined a venue yet for this event. I will check their website weekly until she let's me know, or they post one. Until then, if it's okay with you all we can close this issue and I will submit a separate PR at a later date.

This event apparently was not going to happen. The site certs were revoked about 11 days ago and it started redirecting to IQPC. Received word today that the event is not happening. If you are planning an event or events, check out the site - http://www.bitcointechnologysummit.com/ - which apparently is expiring based on whois and will become available (for a new owner) soon it would seem.
