@jimjong I'm sorry to hear about your problems. Unfortunately, the Bitcoin.org website can't fix confirmation time variance, so I'm going to close this issue. |

@jimjong Additionally, your questions might be better addressed by Bitcoin communities: https://bitcoin.org/en/community . |

I'm sorry but I don't see how the community can change the way the system operates. I'm not looking to make friends to complain with. I'm here to ask you to fix this clear mistake. You can't build a digital currency and have such a lazy approach to transactions |

@jimjong Some of the issues you outlined can probably be avoided on your side by using transaction fees, the communities might help you finding solutions. Regardless, this GitHub repository is for bitcoin.org; this isn't the right place for feedback or support for any particular Bitcoin client. |

I love bitcoin but it's impractical for everyday use as long as transactions can stay "unconfirmed" for hours.
I use bitcoin to bet on sporting events and when I have a limited window to send payment and I have 6 btc stuck in "?" and "unconfirmed" it forces me to use fiat. Its frustrating that nothing's been done. I don't see how mining has become so huge and transactions are taking so long.
I also don't like how inconsistent it is. There's times where I can get a confirmation within seconds and like I said, other times its much longer.
I even ran into situations where I send money to 3 different addresses and the first one takes 100 minutes for 1 confirmation and the other 2 are nearly instant.
