Hi,

In ressources on the french-speaking website, in the news website quarter, there is an actually dead website which is "France Bitcoin", I suggest to replace this website by http://le-coin-coin.fr who is actually a non-profit website without add (I'm the foundator and I don't want to earn money with that, just payback my server cost with donation and affiliation) & to add http://bitcoin.fr who is the oldest french bitcoin website. Those two can be a good add because there is no french news about bitcoin except their. And for the french forum maybe we can add http://le-coin-coin.fr/forum but for that we can wait that the forum gain affluence. If you're okay I can pull a request, but if you want to donc this personally it's okay too ;)

good to have your opinion on that,
Have nice day

@geatb FranceBitcoin works for me and seems to be serving useful content, however their last news is 2 month old so it may be good to move it into "Useful resources" instead. I have nothing against adding bitcoin.fr . le-coin-coin however seems to have been launched only a few days ago, maybe it can be submitted in a few months if it is still active?

@saivann Yep sorry I made a bad formulation, Francebitcoin works but the last new is from march. So it can be considered as no longer maintained. Yeah it could be better in useful resources because content is still alive. I'm glad you're okay for bitcoin.fr. And for le-coin-coin, I can promise you it's a serious project, I've work 4 month on it before launch so I want to make it prosper, and it can be a great help for the traffic development to be on bitcoin.org, and if, but I think it won't happen, if the site is no longer maintained it is not complicated to erase a URL. Furthermore I will put a partnership ban of bitcoin.org if i'm listed in to be fair. However I will understand if you're not agree because of the freshness of the website. Sorry for defending my project, it can be seen as ad, but it's just difficult to attract people and I've invested lot of time and a little bit money on this non-lucrative project so I hope see it grow :) Tell me you're decision and if you want me to pull a request ;) Have nice day

@geatb Do you have experience running blogs, and do you have a good evaluation of the time / cost / coordination required to run the website on the long run? Maybe you can contact FranceBitcoin and learn from their issues and/or team with them?

In any case, I understand the difficulty of running good quality websites and acquiring visibility, and I think linking to your website can be a good idea (you seem to put real effort on it). But as a general rule, I think it's reasonable to not link to a website the very first week it is launched, and instead let the popularity / activity of each website speaks by itself.

@saivann I don't a great experience, I was redactor on the blog of the first Vo-IP mods on ipod touch 1.1, the website no longer exist. After I've made during one year a Djing blog where I put one mix per week with music critics made by friends. I've made the second AMV team in france during one years with good affluence forum. And some others things. And I also made website for 10 french companies with maintenance but no publication. But this project is different, for the moment i'm alone but i've already start to make partnership with Bitcoin.fr who will publish some of my article, (other will comes) normally two new redactors will join me before July and I have others ideas on the way. I have time because I'm student so it could not be a problem to spend time on this.

After, as I tell you before, I can wait for your approval, it is not a problem, but It could be good if I don't have to wait two months for this because bitcoin.org is a great bridge. Whereas we can replace francebitcoin by bitcoin.fr which is the oldest service and move FB to useful resources as you tell. Two more thing, I'm quite impatient :p , but how long you think it is a good period to make proof-of-serious ? And do you want I pull the request for the two changes we talk about or you'll do it ?
Thank's to read me and for you explanation !

Have a nice day/evening

This is Francis Pouliot, director of public affairs at the Bitcoin Foundation Canada and at the Bitcoin Embassy. I have been included in maintaining the website le Coin Coin, I have reviewed its content and I endorse it as probably one of the best francophone resource on Bitcoin.

The Bitcoin Foundation and the Bitcoin Embassy are planning partnerships with le Coin Coin.

Please include in in the francophone ressources on Bitcoin.org - it definitly belongs on there.

@FrancisPouliot @geatb Thanks for your input and your involvement. In the absence of critical feedback, I will add "le Coin Coin" and "Bitcoinfr" under "News", and move "BitcoinFrance" under "Resources" tomorrow.
