Location: https://bitcoin.org/en/developer-guide#full-service-wallets
when opening wallet from a payment link
the issuer certificate of a locally looked up certificate could not be found.
the root CA certificate is not trusted for this purpose.

what is this and how to fix?

@conrada is this a problem with the developer documentation or a problem you're having making a payment with Bitcoin Core?

conrada commented Jul 24, 2014

@conrada I'm sorry to hear that. This issue tracker is for problems with the website, so I'm going to close this issue. The two places I think are best to get help are the BitcoinTalk Tech Support sub-forum and, for live help, the #bitcoin IRC channel.

@saivann we distribute the Bitcoin Core binaries, but I don't see any direct pointers to help on the site, which is probably why @conrada clicked the Report An Issue link on the devguide. Should I write up a sentence or two to add to the download page translation template?

@harding I thought the "Community" page in the menu was appropriate for this already. Maybe we can revisit this if the issue happens again in the future?

@saivann agreed about revisiting if necessary. Thanks.
