By the way, my first time at using Github so I just kept my suggestions concise. Apologies if I have left something out or pushed the wrong button. |

I have no problem with trying to make the title shorter or changing "without efforts". But I am concerned that if we use "Bitcoin is pseudo-anonymous", people will just read "Bitcoin is anonymous". And since the press is still continuously saying that Bitcoin is anonymous, I think we have no choice but to use the negative form in bold : "Bitcoin is not anonymous". "unless it is revealed by the owner directly or indirectly", I understand what you try to say, but I'm not sure it's clearer as the reader don't know what "directly or indirectly" means. Perhaps there is a better way to say that each time a transaction is done, people usually have reveal their identity and thus, can be tracked afterwhile. |

I definitely agree with the sentiment that we want to err on the side of caution and not give the impression that Bitcoin is anonymous, when clearly it is not. "Bitcoin is not anonymous" is ok with me. How about: "However, the identity of the owner cannot be associated with their Bitcoin address, unless personal information is revealed by the owner in an exchange." |

Sounds good to me. Based on your version, how about : Bitcoin is not anonymous Some effort is required in order to protect your privacy with Bitcoin. All Bitcoin transactions are stored publicly and permanently on the network, which means anyone can see the balance and transactions of any Bitcoin address. However, the identity of the owner cannot be associated with their Bitcoin address, until personal information is revealed by the owner during an exchange. This is why it is recommended to use many different Bitcoin addresses; in fact, you should create a new one each time you receive money. This is especially important for public uses such as websites. You might also want to consider hiding your computer's IP address with a tool like Tor so that it cannot be logged by others. |
