I'm not sure I want to promote a site that says "It will grow faster than $, gold, silver, forex, savings...".

If you want me to remove the the above line, I can do it, but today it is a fact that any investment in bitcoin is growing at a better rate, more people are joining bitcoin community due to this fact.

I suggest that we close any pull request that ask for promotion and choose by ourselves what should / should not be on bitcoin.org.

I personally don't think it make sense for bitcoin.org to do promotion in the long term. I would like to delegate this task to a future good quality website dedicated into promoting wallets / APIs / Merchant tools / Merchants with good guidelines. Until then and while bitcoin is still something very young, I don't mind bitcoin.org doing some promotion as long as it offers useful guidance, promotes diversity and add an incentive for web wallets to become more secure.

Thanks you for providing with these guidelines. I will try to incorporate them into https://rbitco.in and inform you in future when it is complete. I am closing this request. You can delete this branch too. I will start a new branch for translation of bitcoin.org in Hindi. I have been asked by a lot of Indians to do so. I look forward you accepting the translation branch.
