Looks good @laudaa ! Did you use https://github.com/JTuwiner/btcvol/ ? There's also BTCVol.info, recently acquired by BBW https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/volatility-index/ From what I see, bitvol.info only shows the price, and not volatility in its chart |

@JTuwiner No, I did not use your project. This is mostly coded from scratch using JS (besides e.g. the graph) and PHP to pull the API data. Correct, it does not current display a volatility chart. This will likely get added soon. Thanks @Cobra-Bitcoin @JTuwiner @wbnns. |

@laudaa Cool! Looks good! I'm not a coder, so couldn't really tell although it looked similar :) If you want to collaborate in some way in the future, let me know! |

@JTuwiner Then who coded it seeing that it is your repo? Maybe we should take this privately to avoid unnecessary comments here. Hit me up when you have some time: lauda.m@protonmail.ch. |

Hello.
I think this website would be an useful addition for the Charts page. It calculates the historical volatility of the Bitcoin price using the Coindesk API (which will change to BitcoinAverage soon && more features will be added). Volatility is a very important metric as Bitcoin is slowing moving towards stability that can be seen in traditional fiat currencies, and was used as an argument against Bitcoin in the past.
I would like to hear other people's input. Any suggestions for the website are also very welcome!
