Rename Bitcoin to Bitcoin-Qt in Version history #184
Conversation

No, Bitcoin-Qt's first versoin was 0.5.0. Before that, bitcoind was part of Satoshi's original client "Bitcoin" which I post-humourously refer to by the name wxBitcoin; that client had no relation to Bitcoin-Qt. ACK on the naming fixes in general, though. |

Thanks, that's what I was unsure about. Given that QT refers to a UI library, perhaps we can wait for Bitcoin-Qt to get an official name before renaming all post titles? Or then again, only rename titles to Bitcoin-Qt starting with version 0.5.0? |

wxBitcoin and bitcoind are separate clients, no reason to think they should ever have a common name. |

Updated pull request to rename to Bitcoin-Qt only starting with v0.5.0 . |

Should we apply a consistent name for Bitcoin-Qt in version history?
Right now, "Bitcoin" is what is used except in the description of the latest releases. This would probably go in the same direction than many recent efforts to differentiate the software and the protocol.
