Now that we have a list of contacts on the press page and bitcoinpresscenter.org, the inactive and non-transparent mailing list should be abolished.

I haven't reviewed the commit HTML/etc changes, but ACK retirement of the mailing list

The commit changes seem OK. That said, I don't know exactly how this press mailing list works right now, and who is reached through it. But having a mailing list to reach all interviewees at once (perhaps also interviewees on bitcoinpresscenter.org at some point) seemed useful IMO to allow journalists to find available interviewees in a short delay, which seems to happen often. But if current mailing list is mostly incomplete or inactive, indeed, ACK removing it.
