Focused on key features and I think a clearer explanation for the layperson. Retained the link to Satoshi's paper since it is still the best, most concise description of the system. Might even add a sentence such as, "For a concise technical description read Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System by Satoshi Nakamoto."

Not a huge fan of this sentence, "instant payments" seems like lying, and if you interpret "virtually no cost" in the economic sense, there is a ton of power costs involved.

It's true that instant could be taken the wrong way so how about just payments or payment? On the cost side, from the user's perspective it really is low cost. Not sure of a better way to put that.
