I just took a quick glimpse. I think this is a good idea! You can use the following if you want browsers to detect the RSS feed automagically:
It also seems to be a common practice to show the RSS icon (I've done it for other parts of the website which are providing a RSS feed):

I suspect some people want to receive updates about what's being added to Bitcoin.org without having to track every issue and PR through GitHub, so this PR adds a simple blog and RSS feed to Bitcoin.org. The blog is pre-populated with three back-dated posts, two of which were previously published elsewhere by me. A link to the blog is added to the site footer (after the "About bitcoin.org" link).
In addition to providing news, I hope that the blog will help us reach out to people who want to volunteer to contribute to the site, as well as provide a little extra good press for any sponsors of the site.
The blog will focus exclusively on Bitcoin.org. It won't cover general Bitcoin news or Bitcoin Core development or anything else. (If the Bitcoin Core devs want a communal blog or press-release section on Bitcoin.org, let me know and I'll write the code for it.)
