pybitcointools is no longer maintananced #447
They are possible: pip install bitcoin that will get you the last version of pybitcointools that was pushed to the pip repository. I believe it is 1.42. It works fine…

BTW I'd be happy to help maintain a fork to keep this tool alive, but not just by myself. @aantonop maybe you could make the first step to give it a new home and use your reach to find more python devs to help out?
