Starting here, these many small paragraphs just look like a wall of text. While there's a few focuses of attention with bold highlights, it still feels like all of this information was mashed onto one page. I didn't read the whole thing because it felt chore-like. I imagine visitors will feel at least as much.
Breaking these down into digestible sections would help a lot. Examples:
- Want to get involved?
- Want to contribute?
- The where and when
- Help spread the word
